Iris Perovic, originally from Croatia, embarked on her creative journey that led her to London, where she is currently based. From a young age, Iris has been captivated by various forms of artistic expression, particularly dance, music, and cinema. She embarked on her academic journey at the University of Kent, earning a bachelor's degree in Film and Drama. Iris continued her education by graduating from a master’s degree in Directing at METFilm School. Eager to broaden her skill set, she furthered her studies in script supervision and continuity at the esteemed National Film and Television School.
During her time at university, Iris explored various roles, including different crew positions at numerous student productions, moderating discussions and holding Q&A section at a History Film Festival in Rijeka, Croatia, and working as a videographer for a UK segment in a Croatian Documentary that aired on National Croatian TV. Most notably, she took on the role of station manager at Kent Television, where she demonstrated her leadership abilities by overseeing operations, organizing meetings, and ensuring the consistent production of content. Concurrently, she embarked on many creative projects, including her directorial debut with the short film "Sending to the Sea" and several music videos.
After completing her studies, Iris began working as a freelance script supervisor, contributing her expertise to various film projects. Recently, she completed her latest directorial project, a short drama/musical titled "The Fascinator."
Looking ahead, Iris is committed to advancing her career as a director, producer, and script supervisor, while fostering connections within the creative community.
